Apple is using Backlit SEG Tension Fabric and Lightboxes for Signage in Stores.

These SEG lightboxes with Backlit SEG Tension Fabric Graphics were spotted inside the Apple Store on Prince Street in New York City.

SEG is short for Silicone Edge Graphics, which means that the graphic has a thin silicone strip sewn around the perimeter that fits into a minimalistic SEG frame or lightbox for display.  SEG is an emerging category in signage that many top brands and retailers are using today; including H&M, GAP, Macy’s and Tesla Car Dealerships.

Known for their retail store design and outstanding in-store visuals, Apple has always been a leader in providing an excellent retail shopping experience.  It is exciting to see them transitioning their stores to using SEG signage. If Apple is using SEG then it is a significant indicator that this category has obvious benefits over traditional signage solutions.

40 VISUALS did not produce the SEG Lightbox and Fabric that is displayed at the Apple stores but we are a leader in the SEG signage category. If you are interested in using SEG signage for promotion please fill out our contact form and we will give you a shout to discuss options.
