Properly Insert Your Silicone Edge Graphic

When you receive your printed Silicone Edge Graphic (SEG) you will need to make sure that it is correctly inserted into the frame or light box to achieve a drum tight fit. Here at 40 VISUALS we make it easy. We have provided three ways for you to learn how to properly insert your printed Silicone Edge Graphic into a frame or light box. You can either view the video on this page, read the detailed steps below, or click the button below to download an instructional PDF.

Inserting the Corners

Installing Silicone Edge Fabric Graphics Into Frame or Light Box

Start by folding one corner edge of the graphic so the silicone strip points down and the fabric wraps over it. Insert the silicone of the graphic into it’s appropriate corner. From there move to the opposite diagonal corner and tuck in the silicone beading.

Finishing Installation

Installing a SEG Fabric Graphic

Move next to inserting the silicone at the mid-point on all four sides. Finally, work outwards from the mid-points of each side to their respective corners. The final side should require slightly more effort to insure the graphic is stretched properly.

Drum Tight Fit

Your Silicone Edge Graphic should now be perfectly fitting in your SEG frame or light box. If you have additional questions simply contact your 40 VISUALS representative or feel free to call us at 1-800-962-3119.
