Application

Installation of Invisa-view is very simple. First, spray the window thoroughly with water. Once the window is prepped, position the vinyl over the glass, ensuring proper alignment. If you’re happy with the positioning, apply pressure to bond the vinyl to the window  using a squeegee to push out all of the water and air bubbles.

Outdoor Use

Invisa-view Perforated Adhesive Window Vinyl will keep its printed colors true, no matter the weather conditions. This is because Invisa-View is UV protected and water-resistant, to keep your graphic from fading or becoming damaged. Invisa-view is guaranteed for up to 6 months and can last years

High Visibility

First surface applications allow for high visibility and impressive natural light quality with no risk of glass glare. The full adhesive back allows for large durable exterior signage that can be easily interchangeable without obstructing the view from inside your premises.

Easy to Install

Vinyl perforated window signs are simple to install. The fully coated adhesive backing allows for an “easy peel” process and a straightforward application with water. Simply ensure that your graphics are aligned properly before smoothing the graphic down with a squeegee to remove air bubbles and trapped water droplets.

Second Surface Perforated Window Vinyl is applied front-facing to the inside of the window glass using a two-sided clear optical tape pre-applied around the perimeter edge of the graphic.

Application

Application is simple. Peel back the double-sided optical tape at the top of the graphic, or along the perimeter. Then, line up the graphic, ensuring it’s flush with the glass surface. Once you’re happy everything is even, apply pressure around the edges and smooth out any excess air bubbles.

Indoor Use

Unlike Outdoor Invisa-View Perforated Vinyl, which is applied on the outside of the glass and subjected to weather elements, Second Surface Perforated Window Vinyl is front-facing and adheres to the inside of the glass facing out. As Second Surface Vinyl won’t be exposed to outdoor conditions like wind, rain, or glare, the overall lifespan of the graphic is increased.

Residue Free Removal

Because Second Surface Perforate Vinyl is applied using only a thin strip of adhesive around the edges of the graphic, it is easy to remove after use. The strips peel off the glass without hassle, leaving behind no signs of residue after removal.

Easy to Install

The double-sided clear optical tape makes Second Surface Perforated Window Vinyl very easy to install by creating a bond with the window at the top and bottom of the graphic only. For larger sizes, it is recommended that tape is included along the sides as well.

What Are Perforated Window Decals?

A custom window decal is one of the best ways to grab a little extra advertising space in your store’s unused windows. A common complaint? As vinyl window wrap is opaque, it blocks light and limits the views of the outside. For some companies, reduced visibility is a reasonable trade-off for some great advertising from the outside. For others, however, a perforated window decal is preferable.

Unlike solid vinyl that can turn your window areas into great advertising opportunities as well as turning those useful windows into virtual walls, perforated window decals are opaque on one side yet transparent on the other. That means you can get the best of both worlds — great advertising from the outside without obstructing views and light from the inside.

We call it one-way visibility, but it’s basically the secret of perforated vinyl. Instead of a solid sheet of vinyl, perforated window decals have a certain percentage of the material removed — a pattern of tiny holes across the entire sheet — often in the range of 20 to 50 percent. For example, 80/20, 70/30 or 60/40 vinyl means 80, 70 or 60 percent vinyl with 20, 30 or 40 percent removed, respectively. Lower concentrations of vinyl means letting more light through, but it can also affect visibility outside. For the best in high visibility while maintaining the benefits of perforated vinyl, we suggest 80 percent vinyl.

The magic comes from all those tiny little holes, helping to create an optical illusion that looks like a solid image when viewed from outside while the inside layer reveals all the holes, allowing anyone to see through the graphic with ease. In general, it also means that lighter graphics tend to illustrate this to greater effect, with darker blacks, blues, purples and browns typically reserved for lettering, though this is mitigated somewhat by using lower perforation densities.
