SECOND SURFACE PERFORATED VINYL — (INDOOR INVISA-VIEW)

Second Surface Perforated Window Vinyl is applied front-facing to the inside of the window glass. The application process uses two-sided clear optical tape that is aligned on the top and bottom edge of the graphic. The window signage application features an 80/20 mesh pattern, meaning that 80 percent of the material is solid and the other 20 percent is tiny cut-out holes, allowing visibility through the graphic when standing behind it. This visibility is one of the huge benefits of second surface window perforated vinyl.

Second surface prints are perfect for street-level offices or businesses where you don’t necessarily want people looking in. The two way vision of this window film accomplishes that while also displaying an image or slogan in high definition. If you would like the image to be visible both inside and out, double-sided window perforation vinyl is also an option.

To apply your perforated window decal inside, simply peel back the double-sided optical tape at the top of the graphic, or along the perimeter. Clean off the second surface glass you’ll be applying the vinyl to. Once lined-up with the window, apply pressure around the edges until the image displays flush against the glass surface. It’s that easy to install window perf vinyl.

Window Visibility

Second Surface Perforated Vinyl has a mesh-like pattern that is 80 percent solid vinyl, and 20 percent tiny holes. This is the optimum pattern ratio for enhanced image resolution behind glass, while maintaining the see-through properties from inside that stores love. If you simply want to increase your privacy, black perforated vinyl window film is another great option. This type of film achieves the same privacy as curtains, shutters, or decorative plants, with the added benefit that you can still look out from inside.

Easy to Install

The double-sided clear optical tape makes Second Surface Perforated Window Vinyl very easy to install by creating a bond with the window at the top and bottom of the graphic only. For larger sizes, it is recommended that a tape is included along the sides as well. Window perforated vinyl is also easy to change out as the season’s change or you update your product offering.

Indoor Use

Because perforated window vinyl is installed indoors, the graphic has a longer lifespan than if it was installed outside. Unlike Outdoor Invisa-View Perforated Vinyl, which is applied on the outside of the glass and subjected to weather elements, Second Surface Perforated Window Vinyl is front facing and adheres to the inside of the glass facing out, unexposed to outdoor conditions.

Second Surface Application

Second surface means that the graphic is applied to the inside of the glass (second surface), facing outward using a clear tape liner, located on the top and bottom of the print. The advantage is that the graphic is protected by the glass eliminating the risk of tampering and improving the lifespan of the sign.

Residue Free Removal

Because Second Surface Perforate Vinyl is applied using only a thin strip of adhesive around the edges of the graphic, it is easy to remove after use. The strips peel off the glass without hassle, leaving behind no signs of residue after removal.

  • What is window perforated vinyl?

Window perforated vinyl is a mesh material applied to the inside, or second surface, of glass.
